A REALLY INTENSE PERIOD IN THE BEATLES' LIVES PRODUCED THESE MASTERPIECES.
WHY COULDN'T EMI/CAPITOL RELEASE THESE TRACKS ON A DISC AND CALL IT "THE BEATLES:UNPLUGGED"
I FIND THESE TRACKS SOUND AT THEIR BEST WHEN LISTENED TO THROUGH HEADPHONES.

I was brought up on the White Album and anything I can get my hands on excites me. "Esher", however, is exceptional. You'll love it. That says it all!

The same songs of "beatles unplugged" but miss the track spiritual regeneration. nice cover. some of these appear on anthology album with better sound.

PROBABLY THE BEST SOUNDING VERSION OF THESE SONGS.THERE IS A FEW SECONDS EXTRA OF CHAT ETC THATS NOT ON SAY UNSURPASSED DEMOS .THIS IS A MUST HAVE AND I CAN TRADE IT WITH ANYONE WHO WANTS IT.....

Agree that this is a must have for White Album fans. Great collection without filler. Very good sound quality. Get this if you can, you will not be disappointed!

Wow, I just got this cd and am listening to it for the first time as I write this review. I am totally blown away. First of all the sound quality is exceptional. Now, for the tracks, unbelievable! These rough, early, acoustic versions are just blowing me away. Starting with Child of Nature, it's an early version of Lennon's 'Jealous Guy'. The version of 'While My Guitar Gently Weeps' is completely different from the finished version. It's even different from the acoustic version on Anthology, with a faster tempo. Then there are the songs that didn't even make the White Album. This is a definite must for any fan...get it, you will not be disappointed.

a must have!!! i really loved this than the studio versions of these tracks. a real masterpiece from the fab four.

they say that its john, paul & george only; where ringo was?

My very first bootleg. Now I've got two of them.
There are some others with better sound and more tracks, but I love this one.
