Great CD of a great - if unrealized - album. This would certainly have given _Pepper_ a run for its money (if only artistically, given that _Pet Sounds_ was a commercial dud).

The Sea Of Tunes release is really nice, with excellent sound throughout.

Highly recommended!

Great material. However, for the most part that which is not from an official release is found in better shape elsewhere. As an assembled version of Smile it borders on unlistenable.

A fascinating and revealing insight into what was to become the most famous unreleased album of all time...

Ten out of Ten - but nowhere near as complete than my personally sourced and assembled SMiLe.
Get in touch if you want a copy...

This is the best SOUNDING version of SMiLE available, but it's not the best assembled one, IMHO. It's a nice addition to the SMiLE box set, also on Sea Of Tunes, but look elsewhere for the SMiLE album. One of my favourite versions can be found on Ryan's SMiLE site: http://users2.ev1.net/~bigrynz/

My favorite SMiLE collection to listen to. Well assembled with very nice quality.
