HQ Scans:
Publisher: Dr. Ebbetts
Reference :MFSL-1-023
Date :2000
Made In :USA
Quality :Ex. stereo
Booklet & packaging :Glossy cover, 4 page booklet. A reproduction of the original vinyl MFSL LP cover, complete with the original liner notes on back.
Total duration: 47:32

Comments
A reproduction on CD of the Beatles' twelfth UK album, as released by Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs. Thermal printed legend on CD-R disc looks like a "silk screened, factory pressed" CD.
These are transferred from the vinyl releases. Only the smallest amount of noise reduction necessary has been applied.
An excellent sounding recording, when compared to the actual Mobile Fidelity releases. Very clear, crisp stereo.

A fantastic ebbett disc, actually one of my favorites as it truly presents one of the beatles greatest works, never has I Want You sounded so powerful or Here Comes The Sun sounded so sweet. It's nice to see the original artwork on the back and presents itself as a fine work in itself, makes capitol look like a joke.

This disc has a warmth to it that blows the official release away! The bass is fuller, the mix is richer, and this disc makes the official Abbey Road sound weak and "tinny" by comparison....

Simply superb.Play those skins Ringo!

There is simply no better way to hear this album. A masterpiece not only by the Beatles, but also by the good doctor for making it sound so great.

The good doctor strikes again with another classic piece!
I almost knew that after getting both the original Capitol & Parlophone issues I was going to complete the MFSL discs.
as well as replacing the Japanese boot MFSL discs that I bought six months ago.The japanese MFSL discs have nothing the the Ebbetts mixes the doctor as said above using virgin MSFL vinyl. YOU CAN'T GET ANY BETTER THEN THIS....

Simply incredible. Dr E. delivers superior sound in a gorgeous package. Nothing compares.

Well then, there's nothing to be added regarding the incredible sound of this one.On the other hand, I think we mustn't forget the incredible artwork the good old Dr. provides us.It Is taken from all the original LP artwork, It's like having the old LPs in our hands but in brand new quality, which blows competition away.....For good.

Great sound! I love the heavy bass and the dynamic sounds of the guitars and the drums compared to the flat official release. I will never listen to the store-bought Abbey Road again. This is the Beatles' best album as it was meant to be heard, and anyone remotely interested in the Beatles (or music in general for that matter) needs to hear this.

3-D, Full Sound, Bass, What are those dummies at EMI-Apple-Crapal doing !!!
Review by: Norman CareyOn 05 Mar 2009 at 06:20 CEST
Abbey Road sounds better on this CD than on any other CD. There are two reasons for this.

Number 1: MFSL made the best sounding Abbey Road LP

Number 2: Dr. Ebbetts did a flawless job of reproducing on CD what was on the MFSL Abbey Road LP
