Released on "Rubber Soul" mono (PMC 1267) and "Nowhere Man" EP (GEP 8952).

Brennan: Reports of a different mono mix with the piano much softer, on UK Parlophone GEP 8952 Nowhere Man (EP) 1965 (see the book Every Little Thing for example), are mistaken, but perhaps "piano" is a transcription error for "cowbell".

This is the Beatles ascending to the peak of their collective career. The songs on "Rubber Soul" are just phenominal and sound much warmer in "mono" than "stereo" in my opinion. Great vinyl to cd transfer with little surface noise present. I couldn't hear any "click's" or "pop's". I'd say "Core Collection".Do yourself a favor and trade for a copy!

Original mono mixes in excellent sound quality. The Doc has upgraded the artwork to reflect the vinyl album more closely.

I agree with O Boogie's review. The jangling guitar of Harrison's in his song "If I Needed Someone" is sharp and clear. This album inspired Brain Wilson and Beach Boys "Pet Sounds" masterpiece LP - what a compliment that is.

Also refer to Silent Sea title Soul Sessions. This has the mono version on disc 2

Perfect. As all of the other post-"Beatles For Sale" UK mono versions by Doc that I own.

Punchy, full, warm transfers... as close as we'll probably ever have to getting the Beatles RUBBER SOUL in mono in some listenable form.

Great job. Just minimal static ticks and a nice mono sound.

The Doc does it again. A very nice album. Not to much different though from the official release but I would definelty trade/go through the doctor for this one.

I buy em straight from him for $15. You cant get better than that!
