Very raw video material (I mean sometimes the same camera shot for a few minutes) but, man, this is a magnificient bootleg. First time for instance i get to see the filming of the "Commonwealth" track. Woow!

Magnificent? This is some of the most boring uninteresting footage I have ever seen. After watching this once, I cannot see myself ever deliberately putting this in the DVD player again. That segment with that no-talent screeching yelping yoko could be used as torture. The TV promos are OK but no big deal. Sure the cavern club clip is cool, but I have had that for years without the time code. After all the hype, this is sure a dissappointment.

I think this one the best dvd's with get back/let it be stuff
the b/w are from one of the best I have seen till yet
on the most dvd's is very bad now it's for the first time
that I don't skip it.

I just got a hold of this one and think it is very well done. I actually prefer this second disc over the first. Got some fascinating footage which very much puts you there "in the moment" with the band.
OK it's not one that I am ever going to put in and watch all the way through (like most of the Get Back/Let It Be bootlegs audio or video), but there is enough to keep me coming back and dipping in and out for an hour or so at a time.
Just hope that when the real Let It Be DVD is released Apple makes the most of what extra footage is out there.

Excellent DVD & the soundtrack is great, imagine if Capitol got a hold of this! what would they do ?Probly nothing.

Hmmm...I'm not sure exactly what I expected of this bootleg but I thought it would be better than this. I didn't expect a polished and produced "film" but I guess I didn't expect things to be so fragmented and disjointed. At times there are only brief snippets of conversation, singing, etc. before an abrupt shift to another brief snippet of something else. Nothing seems to be given any time to play itself out. I would have to agree with the previous comments that this is not something I would drop in the dvd player on any kind of frequent rotation. I'm having a difficult enough time just to make it through once. Fascinating viewing? Hardly. But it does give a glimpse into what a recording session can sometimes be like (from my limited perspective anyway).

To understand the shortcoming of this DVD you have to understand how it came to be.The Twickenham stuff is mostly footage that leaked out during the making of a Yoko Ono documentary,so you almost never see anyone but John&Yoko in those clips. Also the idiot director of the original 'Get Back' project (Michael Lindsay-Hogg) deliberately shot very short sequences so you don't get a full song with any of the Twickenham footage (even in the finished LIB film, the Twickenham stuff is all short spurts of film stitched together to create an illusion of a complete song)and he also usually had the camera pointed at the wrong Beatle (so as Paul sings Commonwealth all we get to see is John adding his "Yes" bits)
It's easy to forget that many people wouldn't have even suspected this stuff circulated, and now that they've painstakingly given the correct sound to all the rushes that for a long time circulated without sound I think this was a very worthwhile project and will be fascinating viewing for many people.
You will not find this footage in better quality anywhere and as you are not meant to even see these outtakes it makes them twice as appealing.I agree that the Yoko sequences are as bad as anything you'll ever hear you can skip them with such ease on a DVD that you can pretend they are not there.
Add to all this the fact that there's 10minutes or so of previously unseen 'For You Blue' footage that even the people who have had the rest of this stuff for 20years have not seen and you have a pretty important DVD release.
Now all we need is for Apple to get off their arse and reissue the remastered film (with loads of outtake extras please)and we'll all be happy.
Interested parties should also check out F.A.B's 'Get Back Chronicles' 3DVD set for even more GB/LIB stuff (and all in chronological order too!)
