SIMPLY AWESOME!! ONE OF THE FIRST THINGS I GRABBED WAS THE DOCTOR EBBETT'S HORZU MIX THE ONLY ALBUM AT THE TIME OF RELEASE TO HAVE ALL 12 TRACKS IN TRUE STEREO THIS IS WHAT I MEAN ABOUT THE DOCTOR EBBETT RUN OF BEATLES TITLES.THIS WAS SOURCED FROM VIRGIN VINYL (AS ARE ALL THE D.E.S.S. TITLES) FOR MAXIMUM LISTENING PLEASURE. A GREAT DISC TO HAVE IN ANY BEATLES COLLECTION I KNOW I JUMPED ON IT AS SOON AS I SAW IT..JUST ANOTHER IN THE EBBETT'S LINE OF EXCELLENT BEATLES RECORDINGS....JEFF ROSENTHAL

I agree with JeffR714. In my opinion - this is the BEST official release of Magical Mystery Tour (although it was initially released in Germany in 1971). I'm glad to have obtained a copy of this excellent Dr. Ebbett issue for my collection. I think the album artwork is far better than the U.S. release too.

I have just received a copy of this today and when I played it I was blown away with the quality of the recordings. This release must rate as one of the BEST stereo releases by the Beatles

You can feel what true stereo is.

If anyone obtains this CD in the future, here's what you should do... first listen to the commercial MMT and then pop this baby in for the first time. What a difference, huh? Yep, that's true stereo for ya.

Two words for you: TRUE STEREO. Thanks Doc. You did it again.

Perfect! I owe a vinyl MMT (EMI) but this cd sounds far better. A warm and clear sound, no need to remaster or remix this one.

Just got my copy, and there isn't anything to add to what has been said by the other reviewers. My favorite album, true stereo, it just doesn't get any better, and you just hear so much more than on the official release, just a completely different listening experience. Outstanding.

Way better than the MFSL 'Magical Mystery Tour' stereo LP (also on CDR by the good Doc) as this have the genuine stereo mixes, also found these days on the official EMI CD from 1987.

For example, compare 'Baby You're A Rich Man' on the MFSL release (where it's in mono/almost fake-stereo and muffled beyond recognition) and then put this on... Pristine quality! No need to get the MFSL version, then...
