The following notes are part of an e-mail sent by K, who compiled this wonderful set.

"I received a few audiocassettes, which contained a 1970 BBC TV show, or musical as you may call it.
Devided into 6 parts, around 25 minutes each.
I am glad that the tapes existed, and according to me this has never been on LP or CD before, which could make it a sort of bootleg.

The whole was taped onto a cassettedeck, with a small microphone, placed in front of the TVset!
No need to tell you the quality was not that good.
Some parts were disturbed, and had to be taken out, and some were at the very end of a tape, so..........rubbish.

Once I got the right order of using filters (Sound Forge among them), I managed to get a reasonable result of the sound.

Also I had to glue things together, because the tracks flow originally into one another.
Sometimes I had to leave things as they were, because I simply could not connect them again properly.

The result is 2 CD´s, 71 and 74 minutes each. 6 shows, each show it´s own theme,
called "In the land of Films", "Legend", "Books", "Theatre", Nursery Rhymes" and "Pantomime".
It is a journey with Mary and a bunch of kids, and in each Land they meet different characters.

Also there were no prints of the tracklisting itself, so sometimes it was a wild guess what a track was called(!)

Each track consists of a spoken part and a song.
Mary sings solo on at least 29 tracks, and on most of the other tracks she contributes.
She is also the main "character" in all the spoken parts.
Apart from "Inchworm" and "Those were the days" (of course) none of the tracks was
in my collection before this, which makes it a must have for us.

No need to tell you that this set has nothing to do with the Beatles.
Still the past tells us, that there are a lot of friends among us, that want this material!"
