Comments
A reproduction on CD of the Beatles' Capitol album. Thermal printed legend on CD-R disc looks like a "factory pressed" CD.
These are transferred from the vinyl releases. Only the smallest amount of noise reduction necessary has been applied.
An excellent sounding recording, from previously unplayed vinyl. Very clear, crisp, warm stereo.

I got a stereo butcher and a mono trunk...

hey if you cant afford 800.00 for a real Butcher heres the next best thing...
Has the real Crapitol mix...just kidding...
You probably had to be weened on these USA mixes to really like this mix, its weird but highly interesting, if your looking to hear the Beatles fresh again, this is as close as you get after listening to their music for 30 years (ok, almost 40 for you over 60 somethings)...
Cool extra backwards guitar stuff on "Im only sleeping"...
The butcher cover art on the CD is very crisp and clear...
the Mono sounds great also...very punchy!....
Doc knows how to mix um just right....
WOW!

A great disc! This was where it all started for me years and years ago: 'Yesterday & Today' was the first Beatles album I ever owned. Of course, it still holds a place in my heart. Because even after all this time, those crazy, compressed, reverbed, mock-stereo mixes on this US album still make me smile. Pristine sound and beautiful artwork from the Doctor, once again. How about we rename him "St. Ebbett"? ;-)
