Just a note on the comments for this Album..... Vancouver is in CANADA, not the USA.

Other than that, the Vancouver concert with the stage interruption is an incredible example of Beatlemania and should not be missed

A very nice CD with two complete Beatles concerts from 1965 and 1964 on one CD.

As noted, the sources are: Atlanta Stadium, Atlanta, Georgia on 18th Aug.-1965 and Empire Stadium, Vancouver, Canada on 22nd Aug.-1964.

The Atlanta show is very similar to the Shea Stadium show which was 3-days earlier.

The Atlanta show is very clear, a bit tinny-but only on some loud portions, obviously direct from the mixing board.

Screaming from fans is very tolerable, not annoying at all on this show.

Sound fidelity for the Atlanta show is excellent, considering the era.

The Vancouver show is not quite up to the same sound fidelity as the Atlanta show, but still excellent for the era.

As with the Atlanta show, the Vancouver show is direct from a mixing board recording.

Sound mix is slightly off during the first few bars of the opening number: Twist And Shout, but the engineer quickly brings the mix up to balance.

This show was probably recorded by Capitol records, along with the official Hollywood Bowl show a few days later, for a live album.

Certainly sounds like that.

The Vancouver show has an interruption after Roll Over Beethoven, and the announcer asks the fans to move back because two fans had been crushed.

The show stops for a minute or so, then continues.

There is no break in the tape source, just the show settles down a bit....fans were going crazy in front of the stage.

Funny moments during If I Fell with Paul and John giggling a bit while singing.

Again, fan screaming is very tolerable on the Vancouver show, no where near as bad as on some shows I have heard.

I would rate the Vancouver show just a bit below the Hollywood Bowl show a few days later for sound fidelity, but still a great example of an early Beatles concert and very nice to listen to.

CD was factory pressed in an east European county, and has some small russian writing on the back cover.

Cover is not the same as scanned above, but a nice takeoff of the official Beatles '65 album with the Beatles sitting on chairs with umbrellas over their heads.

Inside front cover fold-out is a photograph taken during the recording of Sgt. Pepper a year or two after these shows.

CD is pressed on a silver disc by: Azir Records and is limited to 500 copies.

CD states recorded in both Stereo and Mono, and it sounds like the Atlanta show is in Stereo, and the Vancouver show is in Mono.

All in all a very nice CD of two early Beatles shows, and a wonderful document of Beatlemania.

It takes one back to another place and time and Beatlemania was sweeping the country.

Highly recommended.....
