Reviews

Review by: anation69On 25 May 2009 at 15:40 CET
An above-average audience recording, with occasional audible conversation near the mics (not during songs.) As with most auds, the instruments are clear and the vocals are just slightly back--but very nice regardless. The playing has a nice relaxed (but not too relaxed) feel about it, with Jim Capaldi having the best night of the three: his fills and rolls are fast and tight and he stays in the pocket throughout. Winwood has some problems with his guitar during "Dear Mr. Fantasy" (sounds like he's trying to get in tune during the song or perhaps he can't hear himself), but plays a couple of fiery leads elsewhere. Perhaps not the best of the Traffic boots, but a definite keeper. Enjoy!
