Comments
This is the "John Lennon: The Man, The Memory" radio program that aired Dec 14, 1981 as taped from a Rochester, NY broadcast, WMJQ-FM Magic 92. It contains in part the interview conducted with John and Yoko on Dec 8, 1980 for the RKO Radio Networks. This is not a straight interview, but a radio special with good portions of the 3 hour interview peppered with Lennon music and various comments by the host, Dave Sholin (who along with Ron Hummel, Laurie Kaye, Bert Keane participated in the Dec 8 interview).

THIS SPECIAL AIRED ONE YEAR AFTER JOHN'S DEATH, NOT IN 1980. IT'S AN EXCELLENT SHOW BUT OF COURSE VERY SAD TO LISTEN TO. IT FEATURES
EXCERPTS FROM THE 12/8/80 RKO INTERVIEW DONE JUST HOURS BEFORE
JOHN DIED.

THE BEGINNING OF THIS RADIO SHOW SAY'S AND I QUOTE; "THIS PROGRAM
IS PRESENTED ONE YEAR LATER SO THAT WE CAN ALL REFLECT ON WHAT'S
HAPPENED TO EACH OF US DURING THAT YEAR". THERE IS NO WAY THAT
IT COULD HAVE BEEN PRODUCED AND AIRED JUST SIX DAYS AFTER JOHN'S
DEATH. MY ORIGINAL TAPE OF THE PROGRAM IS DATED 12/81.

This is the same as the Black Cat title of the same name but was recorded from another radio source (Rochester, NY, WMJQ-FM Magic 92).
