Just bought me the original Yellow Dog CD, GREAT work!

If you already have the original Acetates disc, there isn't much to recommend here. Unfortunately one track makes this set a necessary purchase (unless you can trade for it), that track being Sgt. Pepper. This is the basic track with no horns or crowd noises or lead guitar and no segue(sp?) into With A Little Help. I paid $40 for this? Yikes.

Great work!
I didn't buy the old 'Acetates' disc exactly because I waited for the 'real thing'. Well - here is it!
I listen to these discs very often...
Best of all - of course - is the basic version of Sgt Pepper which has no overdubs yet and has a much longer outro than the official version!
The Glyn Johns mixes (oh no, not again...) almost got me down to four and a half stars...

All in all: Essential.

Lovely, Lovely, Lovely collection!

Everything that was used, and is still extant, for the Beatles films is now in here. Finally the complete and original "Aerial Tour Instrumental" and the silly complete version of Christmas Time Is Here Again without overdubbed greetings.

I was left wondering what was that Something acetate, I had never heard that version of my favourite George Harrison song. And that's a huge bonus.

Yep, the Glyn Johns again. But luckily you can stop the player before that part starts :D
