The quality of this DVD is great. So why only 4 stars? The concert is not complete. The first song on this DVD starts off in the middle of Lady Lynda, but there were actually 6 songs performed before this (California Girls, Darlin', Do It Again, Be True To Your School, Little Deuce Coupe and Sloop John B). Plus the encore is also cut off (Good Vibrations, Surfin' USA, Barbara Ann and Fun, Fun, Fun). It would have been nice to have the entire concert on DVD, there certainly was enough room for it on this disc.

Now, having said all that, I would still recomend this disc.

On a side note, while it is common knowledge that Carl appeared drunk on stage in Australia March 14, 1978, he also appears a bit out of it here too. His presence here is kept pretty much in the background. When he does talk, his speach seems a bit slurred. Mike and Al carry this show.

I agree that Carl is intoxicated here. Mike and Al don't seem to be in top form either. Charles Lloyd is the best performer. The most unusual thing about this concert is that Brian stands up, plays bass and even sings a little instead of hiding behind his piano as usual. Excellent audio and video for a boot.

Picture & sound quality is excellent and is very interesting to watch the five original members who started it all in the late 70's. The guys' harmony had gone downhill unfortunately probably as half the members were under some kind of influences. Dennis seems to introduce many of the songs in the show at that time. Country Pie was a song I'd never heard before. This is a definte must have disc for the hardcore BB's collectors(like myself!)
