Are all 'New' recordings and 'The Old Folks At Home (Way Down Upon The Swanee River)' Beatles tracks? . I'm not yet convinced.

A good collection despite quantity of Anthology video tracks. Alot of material appears in better quality here than elsewhere.

i really like this disc, not all songs are new, but there are a good bit, the person above me must have a bad cd-r knock-off b/c he says not all the tracks ae the beatles, well no shit! you have kingsize taylor, and tony sheridan doing a few numbers, if you like old sounding material, get this disc!!!

A good compilation made by Yellow dog(sorry, black dog), especially the fisrt tracks, we can hear the tale told by the beatles themselves. Some interesting things o bits in the tracks from hamburg(there you are for studying). And here we have the original 'Sweet Georgia Brown' in stereo!!!
Swanee River by The Beatles?

great historical stuff from 1957 thru 1962. check out a great solo by george on ishst at the star club, sounds like he's playing an octave higher than usual. the sheridan stuff sounds crystal clear. the pre-beatles stuff also sound clear. good disk if your a serious collector.

Had some very nice and rare versions of the very young beatles, but...are this really the Beatles at the Star Club. Sometimes yes! The rare Version of "A Taste of Honey" is lovely. "And now a lied (german for song) that`s John hates A Taste of Honey", said Paul. George: "No, he`ll love it!". A quite good disc, very nice booklet and collectorable.

Some versions are very interesting but not all the tracks are by the Beatles and the sound quality on some of the Hamburg tracks is awful. The compilation could've been better.

FROM A PURELY HISTORIC POINT OF VIEW THIS MATERIAL IS A MUST FOR ALL DIE HARDS LIKE ME.
PUT IT ON AND SIT BACK WITH YOUR EYES CLOSED AND PICTURE YOURSELF THERE IN JULY 1957, AND THEN LATER AT THE STAR CLUB, AND THEN THE CAVERN...
...THAT'S THE CLOSEST YOU'LL GET!
GREAT HISTORICAL VALUE
