Finally done right. The same quality as the original Audifon vinyl. No record noise. Much better than the Yellow Dog version on "The Ultimate Live Collection". It may be from that CD but EQed and speed corrected. The best way to have both shows!

I'M AMAZED WHAT PEOPLE REALLY LIKE OUT THERE.AS YOU CAN SEE THERE ARE SOME GOOD REVIEW'S ABOUT THIS CD,BUT,I'M NOT GOING TO GIVE A GOOD REVIEW,TO A REALLY CRAPPY SOUNDING CD.IT SAY'S REMASTERED AND SPEED-CORRECTED,BUT,I DON'T HEAR IT THAT WAY!IT HAS BOTH THE AFTERNOON AND EVENING SHOW'S,BUT,SO WHAT!THEY SOUND THE SAME TO ME.THERE REALLY IS NO DIFFERENCE IN BOTH OF THESE SHOWS.IT ALL SOUNDS LIKE CRAP.I LIKE THE BEATLES ALOT,BUT,SOME OF THESE BOOTLEGG'S ARE JUST NOT WORTH OWNING.GRANTED,IT IS PART OF A BIGGER COLLECTION,HAVING AS MUCH BEATLES,AS YOU CAN,BUT,DON'T SAY SOMETHING IS GOOD ABOUT THIS CD,WHEN,INFACT,IT'S NOT!THE SOUND IS CRAP,BUT,IF YOU WANT IT FOR YOUR COLLECTION,LIKE I DO,THEN GO AHEAD AND GET IT FOR THAT PURPOSE ONLY.OTHER THAN THAT,DON'T BOTHER WITH THIS ONE,PERIOD!

WHAT CAN BE EXPECTED FROM AN UNOFFICIAL LIVE RECORDING FROM THE SIXTIES ? A 7:1 CHANNELS RECORDING ?
ANY SOUNDBOARD RECORDING FROM THAT PERIOD JUST CAN'T BE SEEN AS CRAP, DUE TO THE TECHNOLOGICAL LIMITATIONS.
AND WE ARE TALKING ABOUT THE BEATLES, THE HISTORICAL VALUE OF THESE RECORDINGS IS OBVIOUS.
IF YOU ARE A SERIOUS BEATLES COLLECTOR, GET IT.
IF YOU ARE A SOUND EXPERT, FORGET IT!

The Beatles live at the Sam Houston Coliseum, Houston, Texas on 19th Aug.-1965.

Both shows, recorded directly from the mixing monitor desk sound-board.

Professionally recorded by Capitol records for possible inclusion in an official live album.

However, the master tapes remain locked away with Capitol, as they chose the Hollywood Bowl recordings to release later (1977).

Recorded just 4-days after their famous Shea Stadium show in New York, and early into their 1965 summer North American tour.

Both shows are wonderful performances, considering this was 1965.

Sound fidelity is great for 1965, obviously not up to 21st Century CD standards, but excellent none-the-less.

Set-list is the standard set-list for the tour.

A wonderful and historic addition to any Beatle collection.

Recorded at the height of Beatlemania.

Highly recommended....you won't be disappointed.
