Historic recordings with the best sound available, core collection.

The earliest recorded works of the infant Rolling Stones available.

From their very first professional studio session.

Interesting story, the only regular job Keith Richards ever held was as a postman for 4-days during the 1962 Christmas season, just before these songs were recorded.

He never worked again after that, his life became the Rolling Stones.

Charlie Watts had only just joined the band at this stage, and was even considered at one time by the Beatles.

Bassist Bill Wyman had not yet joined the band.

At this time, Jagger, Richards and Jones were living in poverty in a dump of an apartment in Dartford, Kent-London and almost starving to death.

The only recordings that are earlier are a crackly acetate from late 1961-early 1962 that have Mick Jagger, Brian Jones and Keith Richards playing at a home recording as: Little Boy Blue and Blue Boys.

Only one acetate survives (of 3 pressed) and it is in possession of Mick Jaggers brother Chris Jagger.

The recordings on this EP are in superb sound fidelity.

As noted, the best sounding ever.

All tracks were recorded in IBC Studios on 11th March-1963.

Track information is quite correct above.

Highly recommended.....
