The river rhine tapes are an excellent compilation, and of great quality! Though it's not very different from other '69 sessions compilation, it's still fascinating to enjoy new and magical fab four interaction. A lot of excellent jamming by 4 superb musicians. A must own! Presentation of the cds is also quite nice!

Great Sound Quality, A must for every Beatles fan even though you have heard alot of these tunes on other Get Back Session collections. Put together well with all the personality of the Beatles and their humor. Again, great sound quality.

I recommend this 3 disc compilation if you wish to hear the music from the Let it Be / Get Back sessions rather than a lot of dialogue between the Beatles. The sound quality is very good and I agree with the previous review that the George Harrison tracks show him ready to break through with some great new songs. The versions of the songs are not new but the selection is very satisfying as a "highlights" type package. My favorite track is the fast version of Get Back on disc 2.

An excellent compilation of Get Back tracks, sure nothing new, but the kind of disc that you would make for yourself from the scores of Get Back tapes we all own if you had the time, one that you can listen to again and again. Nice job from the heyricky records people.

Song selection on all of these is first rate...but as noted this is some brand of fake stereo. Not sure if the makers of this collection did it though as many other bootlegs from the Get Back sessions are like this. It may be that someone combined an "A" tape with a "B" tape and (as one can imagine with no MIDI back then) is nearly impossible to do perfectly. One can simply use editing software to take one channel and make it true mono again.

A really cool compilation from the Get Back sessions. Unfortunately they tried to create a fake stereo mix and in the process totally ruined the sound. It warbles from one speaker to the other and is unlistenable to with headphones. Unfortunately the problem can't be solved by simply using one channel for a true mono mix as the A and B tapes are not identical and therefore some parts would get lost.
