Reviews

Review by: StevenVOn 28 Nov 2002 at 11:16 CET
This is a mish-mash of both legitimate tracks and bootleg-only fare. Despite its inconsistent nature, I like this album set (apparently made in Belgium!?). Tracks 1-9 give you an idea of how the Beatles' surviving members sounded in the mid-80s. The remainder are a couple of outfakes, a bit from the Making of Sgt. Pepper documentary, and, finally some interesting stuff: George's live bits are very rough but a joy to have, while the Radio one jingle is in better quality here than on the Another Flaming pie boot (the Beatles one, not McCartney's). A very enjoyable collection, if a little disappointing from a collector's point of view.
