Comments
Dr Ebbetts Sound System production of EMI/Parlophone's first UK Beatle LP - Please Please Me in excellent stereo. The Doc has upgraded this artwork to reflect the original album artwork more closely. The same master is used for the MFSL stereo DESS release already posted.

Also, the latest information regarding the UK PCS stereo series from the Doc is:

Quote:
"I am in the process of remastering the regular issue UK stereo LPs using the late 1970s "blue box" collection. I've heard from numerous sources that this is among the best sounding - and truest representations - of the original UK LPs."

Stay tuned...

Probably the BEST sounding stereo edition of Please Please Me. I prefer the sound quality of Dr. Ebbetts over any other pirate releases - Mirror Spock or Millennium Remasters. I think the overall sound is "fuller" (if that can be used as a word to describe it).

The artwork is crisp, clear and colorful. As noted by the Doc - he uses the same master (MFSL) for both the UK stereo and MFSL issues. The mixes are the same UK stereo anyway.

Great job. Just minimal static ticks and a clear, crispy stereo sound.
