This is surprisingly a very good concert. Even though it's an audience recording, it's still a nice recording. The crowd is small, so it's a very intimate setting. And Peter shows that he is a very capable musician. The best part is that he doesn't break out the banjo and play Cripple Creek.

Still hoping one day Peter's post-MONKEES recordings with
RELEASE come out, but this will do in the mean time...
Really interesting the way Pete handles himself alone on stage. He is an entertainer and performer, jumping from instrument to instrument. Very funny between song banter, alas, the audience seem to have showed up on the wrong night, they must have thought Friday night was The Ramones/Blondie show.
All Monkees collectors must have a burn of this.

I enjoyed this; sound quality is OK overall. Peter singing The Russian Song was a lot of fun. I recently went to a Suede Blue Shoes concert, very big changes in song selection from 1977 to 2006. I think "Good Looker" was the only song that overlaps. I highly recommend Peter's band if he comes near your town, you will be pleasantly surprised.

As good an audience recording as can be expected--quiet crowd makes it very enjoyable listen--recommended

I am posting my version of this show that I recorded on a Sony Pressman mono cassette recorder. There are a couple more tunes that do not appear on this recording.
