Comments
To quote Doc E : “This title follows the track listing of the Yellow Submarine Songtrack released by EMI a few years back. However, this collection utilizes the TRUE mono mixes of each song. Included are the NEVER OFFICIALLY RELEASED mono mixes of the songs from Yellow Submarine, like the long version of “It’s All Too Much” and the extended “All You Need Is Love” with an extra chorus and without a fade out. Also included is the version of “Lucy In the Sky With Diamonds” featuring the voice of Dick Emery (‘Boob” in the film) doing the first verse. The rest of the songtrack features the true mono mixes “lifted” from other Ebbetts releases. This is the way the mono version of this LP should be.”

Superb sound from beginning to end. The long version of "It's All Too Much" is always great fun to hear and this version of "Hey bulldog" sounds punchier to me than any other existing version of this song.

Here we go! An unofficial release that makes sense and adds alternate mixes. Some songs may have been presented elsewhere but kudos to the Doc for presenting a monophonic release that deserves a place in your collection. Care in assembly, artwork, song selection, and transfer. A nice "creation" by the Doc.

This is a good collection. The sound is rich and full, with the Dr. Ebbetts trademark warmy-schmarmy sound. I love hearing this in headphones. I would also like a stereo version of the longer "It's all too Much."

I just got a copy and I love it! The sound is warm and full. The rarities are great. The full length version of "It's All Too Much" is...well,too much. The good Doctor fills another much needed prescription.

With all due respect to the good doctor, I think there's just a tad too much bass.
