Duplicates most of the material on All Things Must Surface, but with better sound quality. Highly recommended, I would give it 5 stars.

Same tracks as All Things Must Surface but better sound. If you don't have the other set then definitely get this one. All Things Must Pass (the song) sounds amazing with just the basic instruments (piano, bass, drums, pedal steel and George's acoustic) and a great vocal different from the one on Songs For Patti or the official version. No alternate takes, but many of the vocals are different and most tracks are missing some of the overdubs.

Good sounding set, I enjoy hearing the songs in a less produced format than the CVs.

I have heard this album, although don't own a copy! I would really like to own this double set. The quality is excellent. Strawberry (Yellow Dog) always do a good job! If anyone knows where I can obtain a copy please let me know. Regards .....

I have another boot of this material called "All Things Must Surface" which is the raw acetates without the clean up job done by strawberry and I must say that the difference in quality here is astounding. They have really done a superb job of improving the sonic quality of these recordings for this collection. As far as the material goes, this offers a cool insight to the making of one of the greatest albums in rock. Each alternate version is interesting and a real gem. The only weak points are the apple jam songs, but i never really cared for those songs on the actual album. Don't bother with the other ATMP acetate collections, this (along with Songs For Patti) offer all the acetate material available and the only ones you'll find that sound this good.
