This disk features James Paul McCartney out-takes. These selections are of superb quality. This disk also features the Everly Bros. Demo's. All of which are excellent sounding. This disk also has numerous versions of Blackbird, the origin of which I don't know, but they must have been recorded sometime in the late 80's. Even the 'Home Demo's" on this disk are clear and quite enjoyable. All together this disk was money well spent.

Having listened to this CD for the first time I wished that there was three other lads playing and singing on some of the songs on this CD. Yes I liked 90% of the songs Expecially Dear Friend and Mull Of Kintyre. I did not however like Seaside Woman that much on this CD. I think Linda should have sang the song in her normal sweet voice. Paul still does some nice playing and of course singing on this CD. One only has to listen to Loving You.

i asked for a paul boot that features him alone with an acoustic guitar and this is what i was recommended. i absolutely love this boot because it's exactly what i was looking for. BUT... i just can't stand linda's singing.

Superb sound and great quality work

I don't see why Linda shouldn.t sing, it is just her and artistic freedom

in a one liner

great

this is the most consistently listenable mccartney boot i have come across as yet; this is one of those boots that has, for the most part, the same sort of listenability as a commercial release - great songs, good performances, superb sound quality (for the most part). i especially like the JPM outtakes on track one, maybe the best evidence i have ever heard of macca's unsurpassed talent for offhand gorgeousness and gorgeosity. the "dear friend" demo is also quite lovely, though marred a little by less-than-perfect sound quality. the only real downside to this disc are the really bad demos of "seaside woman." don't get me wrong - this is not routine linda-bashing, i actually LIKE some of sthe "wide prairie" stuff and "cook of the house" - but these demos are just AWFUL, a mind-numbingly stupid and repetitive piano riff w/ some truly painful off-key vocals, this is the kind of stuff that practically DEFINES "not meant to be heard by the general public."

the rest of the disc, though. this is one of the core discs of any boot mccartney collection. great stuff.

great linda!!!!!! but the other tracks??? I think the bootleg is good but only for the last three tracks: why listening to blackbird? Buy the white album! Sorry, but in my opinion Paul can't sing... Linda was the true soul of Wings

Paul can't sing?? Yeah, right.

I don't know if anyone notice, but at the end of "I'm Gonna Love You Too" Paul plays a little of "Great Day", the track that ends Flaming Pie!
