These are about the best quality "Abbey Road" outtakes you're going to find.
Tracks 1-6 & 9 are the digital equivalent of "No 3 Abbey Road NW8".
Tracks 7 & 8 are "A Huge Medley Parts 1 & 2", which had been on LP before, but were new to CD at the time.

Bonus Tracks 10-14 are from "Get Back" sessions at Apple Studio.

Formerly listed as "Take 26, 18 Jul 1969" but according to many sources, it's an unknown take (although take 26 seems the best assumption) from 26 Apr 1969.

By the second middle eight, Paul's voice has given out, and he sings the remainder in a weak falsetto.

A Huge Melody (Part 1) RS2
The second experimental mix of the "Abbey Road" Side 2 medley. Many of the overdubs have yet to be added- there is no orchestra, and many harmonies and solos are missing. The segue from "You Never Give Me Your Money" into "Sun King" is facilitated by a sustained organ chord. The first edit of this medley placed "Her Majesty" between "Mean Mr. Mustard" and "Polythene Pam", but Paul didn't like it there, and asked for it to be removed.

A Huge Melody (Part 2) RS2
In this version, "The End" was still called "Ending", and there were no vocals yet.
The acetate of this remix was cut at Apple by Malcolm Davies, 31 July 1969.
Pitch: the 3 sections of this medley are each at a different pitch. From the opening to "Ending" is +2.8. At "Ending" it goes +1.0, and where the piano comes in for "and in the end...", it goes -1.3.
Note: there has been much speculation on why this piece is so distorted. I think it's because whoever taped the acetate did it at too high a recording level. No version of this has ever surfaced that isn't distorted.

This is the cleanest version on CD, but it has a start-up 'wow' in the tape speed, which ruins it for all time.

I have this cd and I love it. Everyone should have this one. I really dig the exstention on the end of "Something". It rocks!!!

This is the best Beatles bootleg available for anyone that thinks Abbey Rd is their best album, especially 'Huge Melody pts 1& 2'. Sound quality is excellent(slightly let down by a couple of tape 'drop outs'). Not too keen on the 5 'Get Back' sessions tracks though!
Review by: bipbop13On 15 Jun 2002 at 06:26 CET
Awesome Abbey Road stuff. Too bad they hadn't recorded every breath of these sessions like they did the Get Back sessions. I'm sure it was a happier time. A 30 minute bootleg would not have gone over well, but the 5 get back session songs are the only thing that hurts this disc...too bad something else wasn't used
Review by: onosideboardsOn 24 Jul 2003 at 22:05 CET
every bootleg collector should have this disc if only for these two songs:

Something, take 37 (yes, for the long outro)

You Never Give Me Your Money, take 30 (for the long outro, but also for Paul's additional vocals--normally i don't care for Paul singing over instrumental breaks, but he does it with so much feeling here)

The Huge Melody bit is just incredible to hear. I've heard a rather distorted version on another boot, but here it is much improved.
"Something" really stands out as a chef-d'oeuvre here!
The "Let It Be" tracks aren't necessarily the best one that they chose for this boot, and, again with Yellow Dog, so much out of pitch, that it can get on your nerves!
Still, just put the headphones, crank it and enjoy!

The material on here is great, the sound quality of some of these tracks is improved, but the pitch is off.

This was released by Remasters Workshop with a few phase and pitch problems corrected, if you can check a share site like pirate bay to download this amazing disc, in fact they have done the whole series.
