Track 1-15: the original "Get Back" album.
Track 16-23: bonus tracks.

This is specifically NOT the "original Get Back acetate", despite what it says on the CD. This is from the tape compilation of the "Get Back with Don't Let Me Down..." album, made by Glyn Johns on 5/28/69.
The acetate of preliminary mixes is on "WBCN Get Back Reference Acetate Broadcast" or "Posters, Incense & Strobe Candles". Compare those to this one...this isn't it. You can always tell the difference, the Get Back LP has the edited version of "Teddy Boy", the acetate has the long version, two different takes of "Get Back", and "The Walk". "Rocker/Save The Last Dance For Me", "One After 909" and "Maggie Mae" are not on the acetate.
Besides which, none of the mixes sound the same.

I like this album. It may certainly not be the Get Back Acetate but it sounds pretty good and it's nice to hear the boys in the rough.

The first bootleg i ever had and the first time a could listen to a CD bootleg,
In those days to have these material in CD was exciting to me, very far from those records or tapes. Nowadays I can say is an historical CD. One thing I can say is that bootlegers can´t make a fool out of beatlegs collectors and fans, everybody knew that ´Session Jam´was a fake, a lost of CD space. Instead, the bonus from get back sessions are great. I´ll say it again, an historical CD from yellow dog. We hope someday Apple release those tapes in a good sound, anyway I can say: Bootlegers, Thanks.

Pretty OK as far as GET BACK material is concerned. I get a kick out of Paul reading the newspaper article ("Drugs, divorce and a slipping image...") over John's hammed up "Roll Over Beethoven" and his exhortation to "MACH SHAU! MACH SHAU!" before "40 Days."

some clicks on the first couple of tracks, but a very nice disc to have!
Review by: GrimbleGruOn 04 Apr 2002 at 19:17 CET
This disc offers the first run at _Get Back_ in decent sound. The _Get Back_ album portion, though, has been overprocessed with NoNoise to the point where it sounds.... well, just plain weird. The treble is chopped off, and there are some weird "tape flutter" and noise gate effects that are undoubtedly a bi-product of NoNoise.

Still, this is listenable. However, disc 17 of VigOTone's _Thirty Days_ set puts this disc to shame.

Altho many of these songs, from the GET BACK acetate, were recovered in such better shape, in the years after this release, I still have a soft spot in my heart for this CD. I agree, there are strange problems, in certain songs, such as LONG AND WINDING ROAD, where you get this sound, like piano feedback, etc, and a flat sound, from the declicking that was done to the acetate. BUT...songs like "Drugs, Divorce and a Slipping image" are gems, and legendary. I LOST MY LITTLE GIRL is a lot of fun to hear as well. Again, technology has replaced these songs with better product, but still a fun CD to pull out and play. Nothing is so poor, that you can't listen to it really. Even the SESSION JAMS are acceptable, even if their authorship is questioned.

Para mi este es un gran disco, la Session jam part 1 y 2 para mi puede ser legitima de los Beatles, ya que puede escucharse un beep de las camaras antes de que termine la cancion.

Wszystkie piosenki są na innych jak cos warto już mieć to Day by day albo thirty days albo twicketham sessions

A nice, very early cd of the Get Back sessions.
It may not be the acetate, but it was put together by Glyn Johns in May 1969 for the Beatles. They did reject this version though, or, to be specific, John Lennon rejected it. Another version became the acetate played on WBCN and WKBW.
But....This is a nice old boot, with some very nice stuff.
Yes, it has been surpassed in recent years, but a nostalgic piece from the early cd days.
Sound is quite good. Get it, you won't be disappointed....
