I think it was at the 910 board where I first saw screencaps of these but now the full thing (if it is one and the same) is online:
- wrong linking - corrected below -
They`re fun! Said to be 1970 - anybody got a closer date?

Uh.. that youtube tag - there is something special one has to do with it to make it work, right? Not simply inserting URL between tags. I know I asked that before (and really shouldn`t need to ask at all, being a mod). Can`t this be simplified, so it works like the img tag?

That's reportedly from late August 1970.

A little extract from the The Solo Beatles Film & TV Chronicle (taken from the Beatles update chapter)

Title: Who Goes There?
Location: Roundhill, Compton Avenue, Hampstead Heath, London, England
Date: August / September 1970
Duration: 11:30 Minutes
Type: Private (colour)
Quality: B+

In early December 1969, Ringo and his family moved into their new home “Roundhill“, where one of their neighbours was Maurice Gibb of The Bee Gees. A circulating 16mm film shows some quite funny, almost Pythonesque scenes of Ringo and Maurice filmed around Ringo’s estate, which, based on some of the details from the sports news used in the film, were filmed on or about 30 August 1969.
..................

Ringo then announces that they must take another commercial break, after which he will hand over to the sports man, Dennis (Maurice Gibb). Maurice, still wearing the same outfit as the first scene, then proceeds to read out the sports news in the ‘Sportsview’ slot, including some football games that were played on 29 August 1970:

Maurice: Now for more results on the teams of the divisions on the pools check. Ha, ha. If you can understand that? Er, First division, Burnley versus Leeds, Chelsea versus Arsenal and Everton versus Manchester City. Manchester United was going to play that game, but Georgie Best wasn’t well

Maurice then finishes off with some greyhound results before introducing the next part
......

Hey, thanks! But there`s a typo, isn`t ist?
You say it was filmed August/September 1970, then "on or about 30 August 1969", then again talk about "football games that were played on 27 August 1970".
So I guess the typo is "1969" instead of "1970", right?

Sorry Ken Wood for late reply and the confusion, it's August 1970 !

Does anybody have some information from which source the circulating copy actually came from ?

It's actually called Beatles on DVD, and it's back since Monday, after a two-day "technical problem".

Joerg asked: "Does anybody have some information from which source the circulating copy actually came from ?"

It was included on a 1995 limited issue, 28 minute long, "Bee Gees Compilation Video" by the Andy Gibb Memorial Foundation.

Thanks for the info. Do you know if "Bee Gees Compilation Video" is available anywhere?
