Is Making of Sgt Pepper in stereo?

I'll check later and see if it is in stereo. Is your version in mono ?
I'm pretty sure we only had this in mono before, I could be thinking of something else though.
I vaguely recall that supposedly there was one stereo screening that we (at TCTP) couldn`t get back then to check if it really is or something.

As I`m redoing the WANTED list I guess I should include the
"The Making of Sgt. Pepper" TV special (STEREO) or has this by now shown
up? Is there any special edition you look for? I think there were two airings,
one by the Disney Channel. Are they the same or is one more complete or
otherwise more preferable?

Rabbisaul has offered to send me a DVD of "The Making of Sgt. Pepper"!
He captured the Disney Channel broadcast. Sounds good, eh?

I got the "Making of Sgt. Pepper" from rabbisaul last week. He taped the Disney Channel broadcast, so in terms of quality this is not exactly the same as the one on the new DVD. Which of the two is better, I don't know. But his copy is pretty good.
Two things I noticed: the special includes unique remixes not mentioned in John's book. Just have a listen to "She's Leaving Home" in the credits and pay attention to the backing vocals, they are nowhere as up front as here.
I'll have to check it again to see how much stuff has to be taken from it that we don't list at this point.
Second: the stereo image is moved to the left, because the right channel is quieter than the left.
